Mission Statement: Crossroads after a night of rain - Martin Liebermann

Building individuals of truth, and accountability who know their worth and understand the importance of contributing to a healthy self, family and community.

Philosophy:

The youth entering Alan Brooks Crossroads are not just a diagnosis, they are human beings. Crossroads believes that once a youth enters the program a relationship needs to be built and fostered. Crossroads believes that youth are more likely to change behavior out of love rather than fear. Crossroads believes in using natural consequences as much as possible to modify youth behavior. Our experience has shown that youth come to our program out of balance with various life domains. The Crossroads philosophy is to get each youth in balance in the areas of educational/vocational, physical, relational, social and spiritual. It is our hope that each youth will make internal changes that are long lasting and concrete as opposed to jumping through hoops and making no real change.
